‘Tis the season, and the holiday spirit is alive and well in Round Rock! Our community loves to come together to spread plenty of Christmas cheer with its hometown traditions. If you don’t want to miss out on any of the festive fun this year, check out this list of the best holiday events Round Rock has to offer.
Reindeer Run 5K and Family Fun Run
When: Saturday, December 1st from 4 PM – 8 PM
Where: Old Settlers Park next to the Dell Diamond (3300 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665)
Grab your sneakers and head out to Old Settlers Park for the 9th Annual Round Rock Rotary Reindeer Run 5K and Family Fun Run. There are 3 different runs to choose from, so everyone in the family can join in on the festivities. Costumes and holiday cheer are encouraged, so don’t forget your ugly Christmas sweaters.
The finish line is at the Christmas Towne light tunnel, where there will be tons of free family fun, including music, food, and games. Plus, Santa will be there, so come dressed to impress for your photo op.

Christmas Family Night on Main Street
When: Friday, December 7th, Starting at 6:30 PM
Where: Main Street in Downtown Round Rock
This is Round Rock’s big annual holiday festival, and you don’t want to miss it! The mayor will kick off the night with a hometown welcome. Then, the Hometown Holiday lights are lit, and the party begins!
All the activities are free and include live music, game booths, dancers, crafts, and plenty of refreshments. Plus, both Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus will be in attendance. So make sure your kids come ready with their wish lists for Santa (parents, come ready with your camera).

Christmas Towne
When: December 13th – December 23rd
Where: Old Settlers Association and the Dell Diamond Parking Lot (3300 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665)
You can’t celebrate the season without a spectacular display of lights – and Christmas Towne is lit for the holidays! This amazing display includes a tunnel of lights, holiday treats, and a carnival with rides for both kids and adults.

Santa’s Jingle House
When: November 30th – December 24th
Where: The Texas Hall, 4414 Sam Bass Road, Round Rock, TX 78681
If you can’t make the trek to the North Pole this year, check out Santa’s Jingle House instead. This is one of the best family-friendly holiday destinations in the Hill Country! Every night offers a different activity – from holiday bingo to elf scavenger hunts to gingerbread house building workshops.
